The repeater is located in Bend about one mile east of Pilot Butte. It is currently running in the C4FM Digital Mode. The FM (FUSION) mode has been discontinued due to lack of use and possible WIRES-X issues.

It is best to connect to WIRES-X on this repeater so the current room the repeater is connected to will be displayed on your radio. When the room displayed is BEND-OREGON, your signal is only local and is the same as using the repeater normally. If a different room is displayed on your radio, the repeater is shared with whatever WIRES-X room is shown. You can always use the repeater without connecting to WIRES-X, but you won't know if it is connected elsewhere or not. Either way works fine...
